Conference Subsidy Program
All VfS members eligible for a reduced membership fee can still apply for a subsidy until October 31, 2022.
The Verein für Socialpolitik promotes the international presence of young academics in the field of economics with a prize of €500 for presentations at prestigious international conferences.
The subsidies are financed by donations provided by the Deutsche Bundesbank and the Swiss National Bank. The subsidies are awarded once a year, usually in mid-December. It is not possible to receive an approval for a subsidy before this time.
