The Johann Heinrich von Thünen Lecture honours exceptionally distinguished members of the Verein für Socialpolitik as well as individuals who have made outstanding contributions to economics in German-speaking countries. The topic of the lecture is chosen by the speaker.
This year, we had the honour of inviting Philipp Strack (Yale University) to deliver the Thünen Lecture. The title of the lecture was “(Mis-)Understanding Quotas”.
