VfS Abitur Award for Economics 2024
The VfS Abitur Award for Economics will be awarded again in 2024! You can find more information here if you would like to bring the prize to your school.
Last year, the VfS Abitur Award for Economics ("VfS Abiturpreis Wirtschaft") was awarded almost 600 times. This year, the prize is entering a new round and all schools that offer an A-level subject with an economics background are invited to take part.
The Verein für Socialpolitik is awarding the Abitur Award for the seventh time, this year for the first time together with the Dr. Hans Riegel-Stiftung. The Abitur Award goes to students who have achieved an outstanding performance in the field of economics. Outstanding achievement means: a very good Abitur grade (expected average score in the qualification phase or examination result). The grade may have been achieved in economics or in a combined subject such as economics/politics, economics/technology or social sciences. Participating schools need to be based in Germany, offering an Abitur entitling the student to study at a university or university of applied sciences.
