Equal Opportunities Officer

The Verein fuer Socialpolitik supports the promotion of women in economics. Person in charge is Univ.-Prof.in Dr.in Doris Weichselbaumer. The term of the Equal Opportunities Officer will expire after two years.

The Verein für Socialpolitik has set itself the goal of increasing the proportion of women at all career levels in economics.

Female Researchers in Economics

In order to increase the presence of female researchers in economics in committees and the media, the VfS, together with the Joachim Herz Foundation, has compiled a publicly accessible list of female researchers in economics in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The entry is independent of VfS membership.
