SNB-CIF Conference on Cryptoassets and Financial Innovation

The Swiss National Bank (SNB) and the Center for Innovative Finance (CIF) of the University of Basel are inviting paper submissions for a virtual conference on
Cryptoassets and Financial Innovation, to be held on 20–21 May 2021.

Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
• Impact of DLT technology and fintech on central bank policy andoperations
• Impact of DLT technology and fintech on banking, financial markets and financial market infrastructures
• Central bank digital currencies
• Trusted digital identities and financial innovation

Authors are asked to submit their paper (English; preliminary or full version, including abstract, JEL codes, keywords and references) including the full name and contact
information of the author(s). Paper proposals are due by 31 January 2021, and should be sent to finance.research@snb.ch.
